Mrs. Rivas possesses over thirteen years of experience as certified clinical social worker that is bilingual and bicultural. She has experience working with many different populations which includes LGBTQ+ people, substance addicts and victims of violence from intimate partners. Since the beginning of 2019 she has been working with Mrs. Rivas is serving Erie's clients. Telehealth services are currently available in Behavioral Health. The therapist Ms. Rivas belongs to the Behavioral health Perinatal team that works with pregnancies and postpartum woman. She is trained in trauma-informed and adult EMDR. Additionally, she offers group and one-on-one therapy, a Medication assisted treatment program, referral for specialty care, Women's support group. Amanda is a tireless advocate for finding permanent animal homes as an Best Friends Animal Society Volunteer. She is a firm believer in the motto that is the motto of Best Friends, "Save Them Everyone" And she's determined to make Los Angeles into a city where animals aren't killed.
